Welcome to UC Merced’s Accreditation website. Here you will find complete information related to UC Merced’s accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

UC Merced’s accreditation by WSCUC will be reaffirmed during the 2017-18 academic year. You can also read the campus’s Institutional Report for Reaffirmation, submitted to WSCUC on July 25, 2017, here .

This year’s review is the campus’s first reaffirmation process since WSCUC granted initial accreditation in July 2011. I look forward to sharing the campus’s progress since then with our team of WSCUC peer reviewers, and hope you will join me in welcoming the team to campus during the reaffirmation site visit, from Feb. 27 through March 1, 2018.

Most importantly, I look forward to the guidance we will receive from the external review team and the WSCUC Commission in support of the campus’s continued development.
