In July 2018, UC Merced’s accreditation by WSCUC was reaffirmed for a 10-year period, the maximum term possible. The Commission Action Letter conveying UC Merced’s accreditation is here. The letter includes both the commission’s commendations and recommendations for campus action, including preparation for an interim report due November 1, 2021.
The commission’s decision was informed by the report of the review team, that conducted the Accreditation Visit to UC Merced from February 26 to March 1, 2018, and by UC Merced’s Institutional Report for Reaffirmation, submitted to WSCUC on July 25, 2017.
